CHICAGO — United Airlines, the world’s second-largest carrier, said it expects first-quarter unit revenue to rise as much as 10 percent. The forecast for passenger revenue for each seat flown a mile excludes regional partners, UAL said in a regulatory filing Thursday. United also said its quarterly unit costs excluding fuel and special items will increase as much as 3.5 percent from a year earlier.
