A man, believed to have a medical condition, smashed his car into a Kmart store located at Belleview and Broadway on Friday evening.
According to Englewood Police Detective Perry Schellpfeffer, the crash happened at 6:16 p.m.
Schellpfeffer said the man was driving at a high speed when he drove straight into the store between its two front entrances.
No pedestrians were injured in the crash.
The driver was the only person in the car, and he sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was transported to Swedish Medical Center, and Englewood police are conducting an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
