Lots of sunshine over Denver today will help temperatures climb into the upper 60s by this afternoon, and tomorrow’s weather should be much the same.
Wednesday should be breezy in Denver, according to the National Weather Service, with winds gusting up to 32 mph.
After a couple of dry days, Thursday brings a 20 percent chance for afternoon showers in Denver, the weather service said. Thursday’s high temperature should be about 55 degrees.
On Thursday night rain could change into snow in Denver as the low temperature dips to about 30 degrees. The chance – 20 percent – for snow overnight is slim and accumulations, if any, should be light.
In the mountains today skies should be mostly sunny and dry, with just a slight chance of showers in the northern mountains along the Wyoming border.
On Wednesday a weather system out of the northwest will bring gusty winds and a chance of precipitation to the mountains, the weather service reports.
The Vail forecast call for a 40 percent chance of snow on Wednesday night and a 40 percent chance for snow on Thursday.
