Avalanche defenseman Adam Foote did not skate with the team this morning and will miss tonight’s game against the Vancouver Canucks at the Pepsi Center. Colorado coach Joel Quenneville said Foote is progressing well in recovering from a sore hip, but still is not ready to play.
Meanwhile, Quenneville said forward Peter Forsberg will play in the 7 p.m. game this evening. Forsberg had an assist in Colorado’s 2-0 victory over the Calgary Flames at the Pepsi Center on Monday night.
