A man died in a motorcycle accident on Lincoln Avenue in Douglas County after he rode off the right side of the road and crashed, authorities say.
Someone tried to perform CPR on the man following the 8:54 a.m. accident as he was lying on the street near First Avenue, but the attempt was unsuccessful, said Cocha Heyden, spokeswoman for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department.
The name of the man has not yet been released pending notification of relatives, Heyden said.
The accident is currently under investigation, she said.
