The county motor vehicle office in Aurora near Chambers Road and Alameda Avenue will be closed until Monday because of a sewage leak, officials say.
Crews had drained sewage water from the Arapahoe County Motor Vehicle office building and were drying out the rugs with fans today, said Mark Sidell, of Dart Properties, which manages the building.
“There’s no smell problem,” Sidell said.
He also said neither blood nor biohazardous materials from a neighboring dialysis center were flushed into the system.
A new valve will be installed Thursday morning, repairing the plumbing, Sidell said.
