COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—The Gazette newspaper is reporting that Colorado Springs and the U.S. Olympic Committee are close to completing an agreement that would keep the USOC headquarters in the city.

The City Council plans to hold a special meeting Monday to formalize the agreement. The city also plans to release documents detailing its proposal to keep the USOC in Colorado Springs.

The USOC, a fixture in Colorado Springs for nearly three decades, was considering various proposals to relocate because of its aging, cramped facilities.
