LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A plane from Colorado crashed near a Kentucky airport Sunday afternoon.
The six-seat Cessna 210 Centurian went down shortly before 1 p.m. Sunday near Bowman Field, the scheduled destination. It narrowly missed a house in a residential area.
The only person on the plane was the pilot, who was taken to a local hospital. His condition was not revealed. According to FAA records, the plane is registered to Colorado based Shenk Aviation. The flight plan shows the plane left Garfield County Regional Airport around 7:25 a.m. It was scheduled to land in Louisville at 1 p.m.
