Pimp my ride. Will Castro started his career as a New York City valet, moved into auto detailing, and now handles car care for a stable of A-List celebrities through his Long Island, N.Y., business, Unique Auto Sports. The star of “Unique Whips” on the Speed Channel compiled these tips for getting your car ready for warmer weather:

Consider professional detailing. A body shop can fix winter dents and paint chips so you don’t have tape, scratches or chips ruining your car’s look.

A new sound system, or tuning up your old system, helps ensure the car is road-trip ready.

Personalize your ride with accessories like window tints.
