Services will be held Tuesday in Lakewood for Timber Dick, a Colorado inventor and the son of Colorado’s first female lieutenant governor.
Dick, 52, died Thursday afternoon. He was injured two weeks ago as his vehicle tumbled down a 240-foot slope, and he was burned over 60 percent of his body.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 610 Coors St.
Dick, who headed recruiting for the University of Denver’s School of Engineering and Computer Science, was scheduled to receive a transportation design award from NASA later this month in New York.
His mother, Nancy Dick, served as lieutenant governor from 1979 to 1986.
