Weld County investigators caught a break in a series of unsolved daytime burglaries northwest of Windsor when a homeowner’s surveillance cameras caught the burglary on tape.

The Sheriff’s Department posted the three-minute video on YouTube today seeking the public’s help in identifying the man and woman seen outside and inside the home on on Easter Sunday, April 6.

The two are believed to be responsible for several burglaries in the area, beginning in late March, police said.

The man is believed to be white, about 35 years old and about 6 feet tall. He was clean-shaven with sandy blond hair. On the tape, he is wearing a knit cap, blue jeans, grey sweatshirt and a dark T-shirt.

The woman is white with freckles, about five feet, three inches tall, about 150 pounds, with blond hair in ponytail. She wore a dark blue jacket and light blue zip-up hooded sweatshirt with light-colored lettering on the front.
