The 26th Annual Denver Antiques Show & Sale is tomorrow through Sunday at the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum at Lowry, 7711 E. Academy Blvd., Denver. Antiques dealers from around the country will showcase collectibles including French country furniture, period jewelry, Victorian majolica, Alpine hunting and fishing antiques, silver tea sets, Oriental rugs, English period copper, European linens and landscape paintings. Italian details will dress up the show space and underscore this year’s Tuscan theme. Featured speakers include Hugh Hildesley of Sotheby’s North America. Listen up, rock ‘n’ roll moms and dads. This weekend marks the grand opening of Rock the Cradle, an offbeat new Baker neighborhood baby boutique. From 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, the store at 18 S. Broadway will offer treats from The Shoppe, coffee from Mutiny Now, door prizes and entertainment, courtesy of neighboring craft haven Fancy Tiger. Meanwhile, shoppers can peruse the latest little-person looks from such local and national brands as Sourpuss Clothing, Kate Quinn, Kushies Baby, Alternative Apparel, Ugly Dolls, Monag, Bella Sera Baby, Melissa and Doug, and See Kai Run. In keeping with the neighborhood’s DIY vibe, Rock the Cradle plans to host regular music and art classes for kids and parents, First Friday events and community gatherings.
