An 18-year-old man died when his speeding car flew off the road and rolled into a vacant Aurora field last night.
A juvenile who was a passenger in the silver 2002 Acura was taken to an area hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Aurora police haven’t identified the driver or passenger.
The wreck occurred near the 4900 block of South DeGaulle Street at about 10 p.m.
Alcohol doesn’t appear to have been a factor in the incident, according to a release.
Eyewitnesses offered differing accounts, according to the release, so police will reconstruct the accident as part of their investigation.
