The Colorado State Patrol has identified a man killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday on Interstate 25 as Russell McDowell, 33, of Thornton.
Troopers said McDowell was going north on a homemade motorcycle near the Dacono exit when he lost control, ran off the left side of the road into the median and crashed into the cable barrier. He died on the scene.
He was not wearing a helmet, troopers said.
