A teenage driver who died when his speeding car flew off the road and rolled in a field has been identified by authorities.
Clayton Nguyen, 18, of Aurora, died in the wreck near the the 4900 block of South DeGaulle Street about 10 p.m. Saturday, Aurora police said.
Colin Vick, 17, was a passenger in the silver 2002 Acura driven by Nguyen. Vick was taken to an area hospital and treated for minor injuries.
The Acura was heading north on South DeGaulle Street at a high rate of speed when it left the road and rolled in a field.
The fatal crash is under investigation and further updates may be released as information is developed.
