Boulder fire investigators say a wildfire Sunday in the Settlers Park area started in a small clump of trees along the Red Rocks Quarry Trail, a quarter-mile north of the Settlers Park parking area at the west end of Pearl Street.

An exact cause has not been determined, although it is still believed the 2-acre fire was human-caused, the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact Detective Don Dillard at 303-441-4992 or ddillard@bouldercounty.org.
