A look at the Denver Broncos’ draft picks from Sunday:

Kory Lichtensteiger, center, Bowling Green, 4th round (108th overall)

6-foot-3, 310 pounds

Why he was drafted: He’s allowed only one quarterback pressure in his 3,243 offensive snaps. However, he’s coming off surgery to fix a torn labrum in his right shoulder.

Quotable: “This is definitely a dream come true because the Broncos were one of the teams I was hoping for big time,” Lichtensteiger said.

Jack Williams, defensive back, Kent State, 4th round (119th overall)

5-9, 181

Why he was drafted: Williams was tied for the lead in the nation with five forced fumbles his junior season. In 2007, he had three interceptions and eight pass breakups despite a bum shoulder.

Quotable: “It was pretty tough playing through all of the injuries, but I’m tough and I did it. Some of my coaches would comment about my injuries, but when anything happened, I took the blame for it,” Williams said.

Ryan Torain, running back, Arizona State, 5th round (139th overall)

6-0, 222

Why he was drafted: The Broncos have a knack for finding hidden gems at tailback late in the draft. He could be another. Torain was having a good season last year before suffering a torn ligament in his foot. He finished with 553 yards and five touchdowns in six games.

Quotable: “I’m so excited. They’re a great running team,” Torain said. “I can’t wait.”

Carlton Powell, Jr., defensive tackle, Virginia Tech, 5th round (148th overall)

6-2, 301

Why he was drafted: He’s a quality run stuffer, frequently clogging up the middle for the Hokies. He had 6 1/2 sacks in his career at Virginia Tech.

Quotable: “I can put pressure on the quarterback and do whatever needs to be done,” Powell said.

Spencer Larsen, linebacker, Arizona, 6th round (183rd overall)

6-1, 242

Why he was drafted: The two-time captain of the Wildcats can play both outside and middle linebacker. The Broncos have also discussed the possibility of turning him into a fullback.

Quotable: “I just want to contribute and help improve the team wherever they need me,” Larsen said.

Josh Barrett, safety, Arizona State, 7th round (220th overall)

6-1, 223

Why he was drafted: Barrett is a physical safety who has blazing speed. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.35 seconds at the NFL combine.

Quotable: “It’s an amazing opportunity. I can’t wait to get there,” Barrett said.

Peyton Hillis, fullback, Arkansas, 7th round (227th overall)

6-1, 243

Why he was drafted: Hillis helped open up holes for Darren McFadden and Felix Jones. He also had good hands out of the backfield, catching 118 passes in his career at Arkansas.

Quotable: “I think that a lot of teams will be disappointed that they passed me up,” Hillis said.
