DENVER—Police have identified the man killed while he was walking across the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 in Denver.
Authorities say 53-year-old Clifford Moore of Denver died about 5 a.m. Monday when a Chevrolet Avalanche struck him as he was crossing the interstate on foot.
Denver police spokesman Det. John White says investigators still don’t know why Moore was on the roadway. An investigation into the death continues.
The driver of the Avalanche has not been cited.
