A 42-year-old man died after a two-vehicle traffic accident this morning in Westminster, police said.
The man, identified as David Sueper of Brighton, was driving a Chrysler 300 north on Pecos Street at West 120th Avenue when his car was T-boned by a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 16-year-old boy, said Stephanie Topkoff, a Westminster Police Department spokeswoman.
The teenager and Sueper, who were the only people in their vehicles, were both taken to St. Anthony Central Hospital, Topkoff said.
Sueper died at the hospital, Topkoff said. The teenager suffered minor injuries, she said.
The teen’s name was not released. Topkoff did not know whether he had a Colorado driver’s license.
The Tahoe was headed east on 120th Avenue when the crash occurred.
The accident remains under investigation.
Witnesses to the crash are asked to call Westminster police at 303-430-2400, ext. 5.
