COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Hundreds of Colorado Springs residents attended a public procession and funeral service Friday for former Colorado Springs Mayor Robert Isaac.
Led by a small police brigade, a horse-drawn hearse left Grace Church & St. Stephen’s with Isaac’s remains. The procession wound through downtown and ended at City Auditorium, where the funeral service was held.
Isaac was mayor from April 1979 to January 1997. He died May 2 of complications from pneumonia.
