Colorado Department of Transportation officials reopened the two right lanes of southbound Interstate-25 at 15th Street around 3:30 p.m. following emergency pothole repair.
Two lanes were closed earlier this afternoon.
More closures are expected tonight between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. to repair other potholes, according to department spokeswoman Mindy Crane.
She said the potholes emerged during a resurfacing project between 23rd Avenue and 48th Avenue.
