GOLDEN — A Denver sheriff’s deputy has pleaded guilty to harboring a minor in a 2006 case involving a 14-year-old neighbor girl.
John Luna, 48, had been charged with one count of sexual assault on a child younger than 15. He denied the accusations, and a jury trial on the charge resulted in a hung jury a year ago.
The guilty plea was entered Monday in Jefferson County District Court. Sentencing has been scheduled for June 23.
