ESTES PARK, Colo.—Rocky Mountain National Park officials plan to open Trail Ridge Road for the season on Friday.
It is the highest continuous paved road in the nation, reaching more than 12,000 feet above sea level. It connects Estes Park on the east with Grand Lake on the west.
It closed for the winter on Oct. 22.
