ESTES PARK, Colo.—Part of Trail Ridge Road has been closed because of icy spots and poor visibility.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says the road is closed between Rainbow Curve and Milner Pass.
Trail Ridge Road travels through Rocky Mountain National Park near Estes Park at altitudes of more than 12,000 feet above sea level.
It’s billed as the highest continuous paved road in the United States.
The highway was opened for season earlier this month. It was temporarily closed late last week because of bad weather.
