DENVER—Police used a GPS device to pursue and arrest three men who beat and carjacked a Denver taxi cab driver.

Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson says the cab driver suffered minor injuries in Friday’s attack.

The men got into a Yellow Taxi cab in north Denver about 5 a.m. One man beat the driver who was kicked out of the cab at West 43rd Avenue and Federal Boulevard. The driver called police from a convenience store.

Police used a GPS device during a brief pursuit. One man jumped from the taxi and ran while the other two remained inside.

Jackson said all three men were arrested and are in custody.
