Three of four protesters accused of disturbing the peace during October’s Columbus Day Parade were convicted by a Denver County jury after a short trial.

Dan Whittemore, 60; Nicholas Delmonico, 32; and Katherine Goodspeed, 64, were found guilty Friday of obstructing the parade’s passage and refusing to abide by a police officer’s order. They were sentenced to a year’s probation.

Whittemore and Delmonico also were ordered to complete 24 hours of community service, and Goodspeed was ordered to perform 32 hours of community service.

Irma Little, 66, was acquitted, court records show.
