Optibike, a Boulder-based maker of electric bikes, has doubled its workforce this year and is increasing its manufacturing space by taking over a former Beech Aircraft building in Boulder to accommodate a 230 percent increase in production.
ADA Technologies of Littleton has received two grants totaling $995,000 from the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. The funding will be used for research and development of low-cost upper-extremity devices and technology for amputees.

CREDO Petroleum Corp., a Denver-based independent oil and gas company, has agreed to sell RCH Energy Opportunity Fund II LP about 17.5 percent of its outstanding stock. RCH will acquire more than 1.8 million shares, including 1.15 million newly issued shares, at $14.50 a share, representing a 13 percent premium to the stock’s 30-day moving average.
Grand Hyatt Denver announced a $3.9 million renovation of the downtown hotel’s premier suites and the Grand Club. The renovation will completed in time for the Democratic National Convention in August.

Rocky Mountain HCD and St. Francis Center will break ground Tuesday on Cornerstone Residences at St. Francis Center, a new affordable housing development at Park Avenue West and Curtis Street.
