COLORADO SPRINGS — The shooting of two people in Colorado Springs has been ruled a homicide.
The El Paso County coroner’s office says both victims died of multiple gunshot wounds.
The woman killed was identified as Amairany Cervantes, 18, of Colorado Springs. The identity of the man, who is believed to be 20, hasn’t been released yet.
It’s not clear what led up to the shooting.
Some people who live in the neighborhood said they thought the couple was shot by someone in a sport utility vehicle. Others thought they may have gotten out of a car.
