Denver police are investigating after a man’s body was found Wednesday in the South Platte River near 15th Street.
A passer-by called 911 on his cellphone after seeing the body about 7:20 a.m., said Alex Paez, Denver fire spokesman.
Paez said the adult male appeared to have been in the water “for some time.”
Police investigators do not believe foul play was involved, said Sonny Jackson, Denver police spokesman.
