Participants and supporters raised $3.3 million for breast cancer organizations during Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Rocky Mountains event, organizers said in a news release.
The event began with a ceremony Saturday in Keystone, after which participants walked 13.1 miles to the overnight camp at Summit County Middle School. On Sunday, they walked 13.1 miles to Breckenridge.
