FORT CARSON — Authorities say a Fort Carson soldier died in a crash that sent two other people to hospitals.
Colorado Springs police say they responded to the crash about 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
Fort Carson spokeswoman Dee McNutt confirmed that a soldier died and that Fort Carson police were involved but said she did not have other details.
KOAA-TV in Colorado Springs reported that Fort Carson police at the scene said the chase began after they tried to stop a drunken driving suspect on the Army post. The chase ended when the driver’s car collided with another vehicle. Names were not released.
