GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—A man who molested four young sisters he baby-sat for a friend has been sentenced to 50 years to life in prison.
Twenty-two-year-old David Diesburg told police he molested the girls more than 50 times from October 2007 to January 2008. The sisters were all under 11-years-old. Diesburg said at his sentencing Thursday that there was “no punishment suitable” for the pain he caused the girls.
Mesa County District Judge Brian Flynn said Diesburg’s actions were “totally reprehensible.”
Diesburg plead guilty to four felony charges connected to the crimes. Authorities commended Diesburg for his plea, which prevented a trial and trauma for the children.
