BEAVER CREEK, Colo.—The Eagle County coroner says the body found in Beaver Creek is that of a missing Nebraska woman.
Fifty-five-year-old Mary Brake fell into the swollen creek while horseback riding with her family on June 20. Her body was found about 20 yards downstream from that spot on Thursday.
Brake was a real estate agent in Lincoln.
She had been horseback riding with her husband and 9-year-old daughter to a mountain top restaurant. Brake’s horse lost its footing and was washed downstream.
