A 70-year-old El Paso County man has been arrested for allegedly sending sexual images of children over the Internet to an undercover investigator.
Ronald Duane Huffman was arrested without incident Tuesday at his home in the Security-Widefield area near Colorado Springs after a search warrant was served there, Colorado Springs police said in a press release.
Huffman has been charged with sexual exploitation of children, a felony, police said.
He is being held at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.
No known local victims of the alleged crime have been identified, police said.
Huffman allegedly sent the images to an investigator with the Boynton Beach Police Department in Florida, who contacted Colorado authorities.
