One man died early Thursday morning after being shot as several people fought in west Denver, police said.
Denver police said they were called about 11:47 p.m. Wednesday “on several parties fighting” in front of a home on the 1500 block of Osceola St., police spokesman Sonny Jackson said in a news release.
The caller also told police that gunshots had been fired in the area, Jackson said.
Police arrived and found a man with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Denver Health Medical Center where he later died, Jackson said.
Details on the victim were not released. The shooter remains at large.
