A 95-year-old Aurora man has died from injuries he received in a car crash.
Polly Carino was a passenger in a gray 1987 Toyota Camry that was hit Monday morning by a 1999 International truck, Aurora police said in a news release.
The Toyota was northbound on Yosemite Street at about 10:15 a.m. when the southbound truck turned in front of the car as it was trying to make a left turn onto East 14th Avenue, police said.
The truck driver was not injured, but Carino and the Toyota’s driver were both taken to a hospital, where Carino died about 12 hours later.
Police did not identify either driver, but they said charges are possible against the truck driver.
