Colorado consumers ranked fifth nationally for the amount of credit- card debt they carry, according to an analysis commissioned by Americans for Fairness in Lending.
Colorado’s median credit- card debt — meaning half of card-using residents have more and half less — is $2,030, according to the report.
The state with the highest median card debt — $3,384 — is Alaska, followed by New Hampshire, Connecticut and Maryland.
