Douglas County-based Discovery Holding Co. said shareholders will meet Sept. 16 to vote on the proposed new structure for the company.
Discovery plans to spin off its Ascent Media Group and consolidate Discovery Holding’s and Advance/Newhouse Communications’ stakes in Discovery Communications, the company said in a regulatory filing Wednesday.
