Denver-based United Western Bancorp Inc. reported Thursday second-quarter income of $3.1 million, or 43 cents per diluted share, compared with $2.2 million, or 31 cents per share, in the same period of 2007.
Income for the first half of the year was $6.4 million, or 89 cents per share, compared with $4.5 million, or 62 cents per share, last year.
