A serious two-car accident at the interchange of Interstates 70 and 76 meet closed westbound I-76 and squeezed westbound I-70 to one lane at rush hour this afternoon.
The State Patrol announced that the roads had reopened about 8:30 p.m., more than four hours after the accident.
Arvada police had been diverting traffic off the interstate at Wadsworth Boulevard.
