FLORENCE — Police have arrested an employee of the Florence Penrose School District on suspicion of sexual assault on a child by someone in a position of trust.
Stephanie Kay Bellino, 39, was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail Sunday. She is employed in the front office of Fremont Middle School.
The department received information about Bellino on Aug. 14 from “concerned people,” said Police Chief Timothy Bell.
He would not elaborate.
