An early morning stubborn fire at a Louisville strip mall took about three hours to put out and caused about $350,000 in damage.
There were no injuries.
The fire started about 1:35 a.m. at 976 W. Dillon Road, said Shawn Stark, a firefighter and spokeswoman with the Louisville Fire Department.
About 35 firefighters from five departments fought the blaze, which was contained mostly to the roof system and upper structure of the strip mall.
North Metro Fire Authority, Rocky Mountain Fire Authority, Boulder Fire Department and the Lafayette Fire Department aided Louisville in fighting the fire.
No one was injured, and the cause of the fire is under investigation, Stark said.
Three businesses — a coffee shop, a chiropractic office and a scrap-book store — suffered smoke, water and fire damage.
The fire started in the northeast corner of the mall.
The American Red Cross Mile High Chapter aided firefighters at the scene this morning.
