Boulder police say a motorist ran a red light at 30th Street and Arapahoe Avenue, broadsided another car and killed its 87-year-old driver this afternoon.
The woman died at Boulder Community Hospital.
Police have not identified the woman or the driver of the other car in the crash, which happened about about 1:30 p.m.
The condition of the other driver and what charges he or she faces also were not released Sunday evening.
