Getting your player ready...

Armed with nothing more than a new Flip video camera, we set out to get short video cuts from as many bands as we could at the recent Monolith Festival at Red Rocks.

Here are 22 primitive but fun glimpses into the recent festival from bands ranging from big shots Vampire Weekend, Cut Copy, The Fratellis, the Avett Brothers and TV on the Radio to the tap-dancing Tilly & the Wall to exciting new local collective Moonspeed to the new champions of fun, Port O’Brien.

Find out if your favorite Monolith band made it into this random, renegade collection.

Just know that compressing these videos to youtube took a hit to the sound quality of some videos, which started out pretty decent but turned out fairly street. You can still get a good sense of sound and place from these… and it may take a minute or two for this page to load.
