GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—No students are reported injured but one man has been hospitalized after his car collided with a school bus near Grand Junction.

The Colorado State Patrol says the crash occurred about 7:30 a.m. Friday as the northbound bus was making a left turn in Orchard Mesa.

A southbound truck was also making a left turn in the same area. A car behind that truck swerved onto the shoulder and hit the right rear side of the bus.

The bus was hauling 27 students to Orchard Mesa Middle School.

The driver of the car was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction with undisclosed injuries. His name and condition have not been released.

Orchard Mesa is about 4 miles southeast of Grand Junction, or 200 miles west-southwest of Denver.
