WELD COUNTY — Weld County authorities say two people died when their car caught fire after a crash.
The crash happened early Saturday when the driver of a Volkswagen Passat crashed through barricades in a bridge construction zone, said Undersheriff Margie Martinez. The car became airborne after hitting a dirt berm and hit a concrete barrier.
