FORT CARSON, Colo.—The Defense Department says a soldier from Fort Carson has died in Iraq.
Pentagon officials announced Wednesday that Pfc. Christopher T. Fox died Sept. 29 in Adhamiyah, Iraq, from injuries suffered when he ran into small arms fire during patrol.
Fox was 21 and from Memphis, Tenn.
He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division based at Fort Carson.
