A 56-year-old Montrose County woman was killed this afternoon when she ran off the road and flipped her Buick sport-utility vehicle.
Laurianne M. Kettle of Naturita died at the scene of the accident on Colorado Highway 141 about 3:12 p.m.
Two passengers in the car, 58-year-old Anna M. Kettle of Nucla and 49-year-old Ricky Kettle of Naturita, were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. Both were said to have moderate injuries, according to the highway patrol.
A trooper’s report said the SUV ran off the road and up and embankment, causing it to flip and roll twice.
