Neil Diamond’s makeover in recent years from sappy singer-songwriter to musical icon owes much to his ironic embrace among critics and new generations of fans weaned on cover acts like Super Diamond. From his Tin Pan Alley days to his collaborations with hitmaker Rick Rubin, the Mellow One has seen it all. Tickets for his Dec. 17 show at the Pepsi Center are on sale at 10 a.m. Monday. Oasis has yet to reach the (in)famous heights here that it has across the pond, but the U.K. band’s first stateside tour in three years will at least draw the faithful it first snared with 1994’s semi-classic “Definitely Maybe.” Tickets for the Dec. 8 Broomfield Event Center show with Ryan Adams and the Cardinals are on sale at 10 a.m. today.
