GREELEY, Colo.—A Platteville woman injured in a head-on crash last month has died from her injuries.
The Weld County coroner’s office says 30-year-old Marisa Teel died Saturday from multiple blunt force injuries to the head.
She had been injured Sept. 26 while driving on Colorado Highway 66 near Platteville. The Colorado State Patrol says a Toyota pickup strayed into Teel’s lane and collided head-on with her Chrysler Sebring.
Teel’s two daughters were also hurt. They were taken to The Children’s Hospital in Aurora, but their conditions are unknown.
Trooper Gilbert Mares says the male pickup driver is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol.
His name hasn’t been released.
